For the past seven years I have captured wedding, engagement, and commercial photography around Middle Tennessee and abroad – and loved every minute. I am addicted to travelling and while Nashville is my home base, I spend time shooting in Southeast Asia, Europe, and across North America with the occasional destination wedding. I shoot in a photo-journalistic style which simply means I always prefer to take pictures of real, non-staged moments… think of it as lifestyle photography which tells a story about someone or something. I don’t do a lot of fake poses and funky lighted backdrops; just couples, families, musicians, and all kinds of other people enjoying life. Naturally, that passion really comes out during weddings; which have such a great range of emotions; from first kisses and dances to tearful goodbyes. It is, hands down, my favorite way to spend a Saturday. Or Sunday. Or Wednesday evening. When looking through my pictures I think you will find that my art is unique in it’s style, perspective, and “digital finish” – which was developed personally over years of picture taking and is exclusive to my photographs. It was designed to be both vintage and classic, to bring out character, and it was originally inspired by the vibe and diversity of Nashville, TN.
